The Pomodoro Technique is a popular time management method used by many remote workers for a simple reason: It is effective.
It works like this: Set a timer for 25 minutes and start working on your task. During this time, keep all other distractions at bay. Your goal is to focus on the task at hand for the scheduled time period.
Once the timer goes off, take a break for 5 minutes. Then set the timer again and start another focused work session. Repeat this until you’ve completed four pomodoros. Then you can take a longer break for 15-30 minutes.
Once you get into this method, you’ll be surprised how quickly the time goes by, and how much work you can get done.
